What's on this screen

What products are

Anything you sell that isn't time — retail bottles, accessories, gift cards. They appear in the POS catalogue so they can be rung up on their own or added to a client's sale alongside a service.

The product list

Each row shows the photo, name, category, SKU, cost, retail price and stock on hand. Search matches names and SKUs, and the category tabs narrow the list.

Cost price and retail price

Retail is what the client pays. Cost is what you pay your supplier — never shown to clients, and the figure Reports uses to work out gross profit. Leaving cost at zero means the product looks like pure profit in your reports.

Stock and low-stock alerts

With stock tracking on, every sale decrements the count. Set a low-stock level and the product is flagged once it drops to it, so you know to reorder. Turn tracking off for things you can't run out of, like gift cards.

SKU and barcode

Both optional and only for your own reference — matching your supplier's codes makes a stocktake or a re-order easier, and the barcode is what a scanner would read at the counter.

Archive vs Delete

Archiving hides a product from the POS but keeps it on past sales — the right choice for a line you've stopped carrying, because your sales history stays honest. Delete removes it outright and is only offered where nothing depends on it.

Import and Export CSV

Both use the same columns, so an export can be edited in a spreadsheet and imported straight back — the quickest way to do a price rise or update stock after a count.
